While visiting the mountain towns that border on Pamphylia, I fished up from the highlands a sea-Glaucus. I did not drag this fish from the depths with a net of flax -- I caught my prize with the lure of friendship. And having once taught my Glaucus to travel by land, I now send him to you as the bearer of this letter. Please receive him kindly and honor him with the hospitality that Scripture commends. And do not forget the vegetables.
