Letter 9129

Gregory the Great (Wisigothic)Unknown|gregory great
From: Pope Gregory I
To: Savanius, Subdeacon
Date: ~599 AD
Context: Gregory orders Savanius to work with Bishops Paulinus, Proclus, and Paludius on a joint matter

I need you to act in concert with Paulinus of Tauriana, Proclus of Nicoteras, and Paludius of Consentia on the matter I have previously communicated. Together your combined authority should be sufficient to address it. Make sure each of them understands their specific role and that the action taken is coordinated rather than duplicated. Report back to me with a joint account of what was done and what, if anything, remains outstanding.
